Associate Professor Sumit Raniga has established and directs the MQ Health Shoulder & Elbow Clinic at the Macquarie University Health Sciences Centre. This is a unique subspecialist clinic that welcomes all patients with simple and complex shoulder and elbow problems and injuries.
Associate Professor Sumit Raniga is an outstanding communicator who is trained to provide the highest standard of evidence-based treatment of shoulder and elbow problems with compassion and empathy. His world-class training allows him to offer his patients contemporary knowledge and technical expertise of the highest standard with a patient centred approach.
He works collaboratively with physiotherapists and physicians to provide evidence-based non-surgical solutions for a wide range of conditions and injuries – and when surgery is needed, he specialises in both open and arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder and elbow reconstruction and joint replacement surgery.
