A/Prof Sumit Raniga and the Macquarie University Translational Orthopaedic Research Lab (MQTOR Lab) were honoured to host Professor Christian Gerber, MD, PhD, Dr Lionel Neyton, and Dr Christof Gerber, MD.
The visit was a humbling and inspiring opportunity for the team to engage with such world-renowned surgeon-scientists. During the day, the lab showcased its advanced research capabilities, including the eight muscle actuated, six-degree-of-freedom ex vivo cadaveric shoulder simulator, the hand simulator, and the evolving knee simulator.
The team greatly valued the feedback, guidance, and insights shared during these discussions, which provided significant learning opportunities.
Their visit was a privilege and a highlight for the MQTOR Lab team.
