A/Prof Sumit Raniga hosted Dr Patrick Denard at the MQ Health Translational Orthopaedic Research Lab (MQTOR Lab), showcasing the lab’s advanced arthrokinematics research program. The highlight of the visit was the six-degree-of-freedom, eight-muscle-actuated in vitro translational shoulder simulator, a unique platform providing unprecedented insights into shoulder biomechanics. A/Prof Raniga expressed enthusiasm for the discussions on shoulder arthroplasty and looks forward to future collaborations with Dr Denard to advance understanding and innovation in shoulder surgery.
