Associate Professor Sumit Raniga has now been offered and accepted the role of Clinical Discipline Head of Upper Limb Surgery and Therapy at MQ Health and the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University.

This discipline includes Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand Surgery as well as Therapy.

The vision of MQ Health is to Transform healthcare delivery through innovation and integration to improve lives. In this role he will provide leadership in the development of innovative models of care, and its integration with education and research; and supporting the conduct of research, teaching and evidence-based practice within upper limb surgery and therapy, in collaboration with other MQ Health disciplines.
