A/Prof Sumit Raniga was honoured to be invited as an international guest speaker, alongside his colleague and mentor Professor Matthias Zumstein, at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra Shoulder Course in Madrid, Spain.

He extended his gratitude to the scientific committee and to Dr Antonio Arenas Miquelez MD, FEBOT for the invitation to join distinguished Spanish colleagues including Dr Samuel Antuña, Dr Emilio Calvo, Dr Abdulilah Hachem, Dr Alvaro Minuesa Asensio, Dr Raul Barco, and Dr Miguel Angel Ruiz Ibán, among others.

The meeting was of the highest scientific quality, featuring outstanding lectures and thought-provoking, open and honest discussions.  A/Prof Raniga noted that he learnt a great deal from his Spanish colleagues.

He was pleased to share translational research from the MQ TOR Lab, presenting work in both the rotator cuff and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty domains.
